DC Tales..
Getting back to Blogging is happening and now ! Thanks to the family and friends who reminded me that I had this blog page! Here's to the fresh restart, a hilarious one :)
In DC for the July 4th weekend - Call it a cousins reunion, every minute is fun. The family has been quenching my thirst of exploring places and after the initial days of sightseeing, it was my time to explore the interested ones by myself. Using Metro has been a convenient and great mode of transport.

While on my usual return to home post exploration, I was waiting for the train to get back home.
A person in uniform at the station said 'Namaste'!
It was a treat for my ears and I politely replied 'Namaste' !
The officer continued the conversation and directly asked me out for a coffee. He was a total stranger on a foreign land and Thad went my reply a direct 'No'.
Human beings do not like rejection, more so when they receive it directly. He persisted only to receive more No's.
He finally said, 'I might not be handsome for you, but will reduce my weight by the next time you come to visit DC. I will wait for you keeping my fingers crossed'!

I couldn't help but laugh and said , 'It's not the looks, I am just not interested!'
I did not drool over his words and I knew the making up of those words as much as he himself knew. Came my train and I left bidding him with a Good luck 😀
Back home, I and my cousins had a burst out of laughs on this incident. Few days end up with so much laughter that this one came up easy to pen down!
