Can we ever change?

I came through this article in a kannada magazine. How would one comment on a "black spot on a big plain white sheet"? Most of us would say- "Black spot on white background". The black spot catches our eyes first rather than the pure white background which is obviously more in volume. Likewise in our lives, most of us judge others on the basis of their bad deeds. We so easily forget the good things they have done. When we think of others bad deeds, we never make a mistake of applying the same to our lives. Heres a simple question, Can we ever change?!!
